If you are looking for the perfect base for your Bay of Islands holiday, you’ve come to the right place! Our house is set on a hill overlooking the tranquil settlement at Tapeka Point, a few minutes from the historic town of Russell. We have unrivalled views over the water, and a fantastic deck off the lounge where you can sit and watch the boats go by – every boat coming into the bay will pass by.  The kitchen opens on to a second deck with barbeque, ideal for those lazy summer evenings serving locally caught fish. Tapeka boasts two beaches, a safe swimming beach (sorry, no dogs permitted), ideal for sand-castle building or for the less energetic, lazing in the sunshine. The second beach is rocky, good for chasing the elusive snapper, or crab-hunting in the rock pools. Guests can use a swing mooring which can be viewed from the house. |
